Couples
Anniversaries, honeymoons, or a trip you want to remember properly. Just the two of you, the way things are right now.

Making memorable memories in Japan
Photography and films that capture the people, places, and moments that matter.
The Difference
For most couples we photograph, this is their first time in front of a professional camera — and nobody knows what to do with their hands.
So we direct you. We'll place you, teach you a few poses that suit the two of you, then keep you moving until they stop feeling like poses.

That's the difference between a stiff portrait and a photograph that looks like you.

Anniversaries, honeymoons, or a trip you want to remember properly. Just the two of you, the way things are right now.

Everyone in one frame, for once — including whoever usually takes the photos. Relaxed, unhurried, and built around the kids' patience rather than ours.

Discreet planning and photography for the moment you ask. We'll work out the location, the timing and where we'll be standing — so you only have to think about what you want to say.
How It Works
A package page can’t tell us what you’re picturing. A twenty-minute call can — so that’s where every booking starts.
A free Zoom call, no obligation. We'll ask what you're picturing, where you're travelling and who's coming — the fastest way for us to understand what you actually want.
After the call we send a written quote built around what you described — locations, timing, coverage and what you'll receive. No packages you have to squeeze yourself into.
Once you're happy, we lock in the details: the route, the light, the timing, what to wear, and a backup plan if the weather turns.
We guide you the whole way through — where to stand, where to walk, what to do with your hands. You don't need to know how to pose. That part is our job.
Your edited photographs and film arrive in a private online gallery, ready to download, print and share.
No obligation, and no quote until you’ve seen it in writing.
Good Questions
Anything we haven’t covered, just ask — we’d rather over-explain than leave you guessing.
Then you'll fit right in. Almost every couple tells us this before their session. Feeling awkward usually just means you don't know what to do yet — and that part is our responsibility, not yours.
No. There's no homework and nothing to practise beforehand. We'll guide you through simple directions during the session — where to stand, where to walk, what to do with your hands — and adjust as we go.
It's completely normal, and it's one of the main reasons couples come to us. Sessions are built around movement and interaction rather than standing still and smiling. Most reluctant partners relax once there's something to do other than look at a camera.
Something you can move comfortably in, and something that feels like you. As a rule, colours that sit well together read better than perfectly matching outfits. We'll go through outfit ideas with you before your session.
Yes — that's part of planning together. We'll suggest locations based on the feeling you want, the time of day, how much walking you'd like to do and how private you want it to be.
Rain isn't automatically a problem. Some of our favourite photographs happen under an umbrella or in the light after a shower. If the weather makes a session genuinely impossible, we'll talk it through together and find another option. We'll confirm the details with you before your session.
That's up to you. Photography sessions run 1 hour, 2 hours or 4 hours; videography runs 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours. An hour covers one location at an easy pace; the longest option is a half day across several, with travel between them arranged. If none of those fit what you're planning, tell us and we'll quote something that does.
30 edited photographs on a one-hour session, 50 on two hours, and 100 on four. The two longer sessions also include a slideshow film of your session, and the four-hour session includes a printed album. Videography is booked and delivered separately — the pricing page lists what each film includes.
Yes. We'll plan the location and timing with you in advance, stay discreet until the moment happens, and photograph it as it unfolds. Afterwards we can carry on with a relaxed couple session if you'd like.
Absolutely — a lot of our couples are visiting. Tell us your dates and roughly where you're staying, and we'll plan locations and timing around your itinerary.

A free twenty-minute call. No obligation, and no quote until you’ve seen it in writing.
We’ll reply personally and set up a call.
